On this multi-activity adventure we will take an incredible helicopter ride over some of the most spectacular glacier systems in the world, white-water raft on the Chui River, cycle and horse ride through the Celestial Mountains and stay with eagle-hunters and nomads. Blending equal amounts of activity with living culture, you’ll get to experience this remote part of the world from many different angles. All in all it is the perfect combination for anyone with a love of the great outdoors, wanting a physical holiday and some life-long memories.

Itinerary / Highlights
Day 1: Tour starts in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan)This is a day at leisure as the group flights will arrive in the early hours of Day 2.
Day 2: In Bishkek
Spend the day exploring this relaxed capital visiting the excellent museum and bustling bazaar.
Day 3: Bishkek - Cholpon Ata
Heading east we take in the 11th century Burana Tower before reaching the shores of Lake Izzyk Kul for a chance to see some local petroglyphs and take a swim in these surprisingly warm waters!
Day 4: Cholpon Ata - Karkara
Geographically inside Kazakhstan (but confusingly only accessible from Kyrgyztsan and no additional visa are needed!) Karkara will be our base for the next 3 nights and is a marvellous place for some great walking.
Day 5: In Karkara
We take a 6hr acclimatisation mountain walk before returning to camp and making use of the sauna.
Day 6: Helicopter to Inylchek
Ride in the Mi8-MTV high-altitude ex-Soviet helicopter to the world's most northern 7000m peaks.
Day 7: Karkara - Bokenbaevo
We are welcomed into the home of late eagle hunter Sogan Bai and swim in the lake this afternoon.
Day 8: In Bokenbaevo
Walk or horse ride in the foothills of the Tien Shan (Mountains of Heaven) and watch eagle hunting.
Day 9: Bokenbaevo - Hot Springs
Take a long trek over the 4100m Ton Pirival Pass and camp by the river and natural hot-water spa.
Day 10: Hot Springs - Camp
Collect our mountain bikes and begin our 90km ride to Narin through steppes and high mountains.
Day 11: Camp - Narin
Eagles, horses and wild yaks are common here and we also swim in a beautiful crystal pool en route.
Day 12: Narin - Camp
Collect our horses and ride through the most incredible scenery towards the stunning Son Kul Lake.
Day 13: Camp - Narin
Continue the ride/trek to the striking 3000m Son Kul and mingle with the nomads in their Yurt camp.
Day 14: Around Son Kul
Walk in the mountains and soak up this area of phenomenal natural beauty over a picnic lunch.
Day 15: Son Kul - Bishkek
Take an unusual route back as we bounce down the rapids of the Chui River before our final dinner.
Day 16: Tour ends in Bishkek
The tour finishes after breakfast at the hotel.
