About the hotel
With it's genuinely personal touch, the Lady Hamilton Hotel is a feminine and romantic hotel in a fantastic location next to the Royal Palace in Gamla Stan, Stockholm's Old Town. The hotel's charming personality goes hand in hand with the amazing collection of antiques in the Swedish peasant style, which decorates both public areas and hotel rooms.The hotel's intimate and romantic atmosphere is reinforced in the hotel rooms by the antique wall cabinets, antique (although now empty) aquavit bottles and traditional wall paintings in the style of folk art from Dalarna Province. As part of the rustic theme, all our rooms have been named after flowers that are the symbols of different Swedish provinces.
Directions
Driving directions from the north (Stockholm Arlanda Airport)Follow highway E4 towards the City Center (Centrum), Sveavägen and then signs for Slussen and Gamla Stan. Just after the bridge Vasabronover to the Old Town island, follow Riddarhusgränd. By the T-conjunction, drive in the left lane and turn right onto Munkbroleden. At thefirst turn, make a U-turn and drive back in the same direction you came from. At the traffic lights, make a first right onto Storkyrkobrinken.The Lady Hamilton Hotel is located near the end (nr 5) on your right hand side before you reach the Royal Palace.
