Itinerary / Highlights

Day 1 to 1 - Arrive Cuzco

You can choose either an arrival or departure transfer as part of your stopover or package. You can also add an additional transfer at an extra cost. If you have booked an arrival transfer for this tour you will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel. Otherwise you will need to make you own way to the hotel. The first day of your tour is simply an arrival day with no pre-organised activities. In order to allow time to relax and see more of the sights you may wish to add extra accommodation.
Day 2 to 4 - Lares Valley Trek – Aguas Calientes

Private transfer to the beginning of the Lares Valley with an English-speaking guide and porters/cooks speaking the local language. Trek into the Andes via high passes, colourful markets, Inca and pre Inca ruins, ancient terraces, working farms and tiny villages. Arrive in Aguas Calientes.
Day 5 to 5 - Machu Picchu – Cuzco

Private transfer to Machu Picchu with an English-speaking guide. Guided tour of the ruins, followed by free time to explore the ruins, then return to Cuzco by buses and economy train (pooled service).
Day 6 to 6 - Depart Cuzco

Departure transfer with a driver speaking the local language or end of services.

Your adventure of a lifetime comes to an end today; please confirm with reception the check out time. If you have a late flight or have lengthened your stay by adding post tour accommodation you will have more time to explore the sights. If you have booked a departure transfer, you will be driven to the airport. Otherwise this is the end of services.
