The Cala Gonone area boasts an impressive 800 routes; the majority of these are sport and have seen very little traffic. It provides quiet crags with lovely, grippy limestone... it's no wonder this is rated the best climbing spot in Sardinia!

Climbers have a warm welcome in Cala Gonone. There are a couple of climbing shops, and even a great local bar to meet other climbers, and read the hand-drawn topos for the up-and-coming areas.

This well respected 3-star hotel is located right on the marina. It boasts fantastic rooms with panoramic views of bold mountains and Mediterranean bays.

From here you can hire a motor boat, visit the night market or take a two minute stroll to the beach in front of the town. You have two spare days on this trip so that you can sock up the rays or try some other activities on resort if you feel up to it.
