Itinerary / Highlights

Day 1. Arrive at lodge, welcome drink followed by 3 course dinner with fine wine.

Day 2. Breakfast and then mount the horses. The ride will take you through native forest where you will see several different types of rare species of fauna, and possibly a fox, wild boar, and flocks of Tricahues (brightly coloured squawking parrots). You leave the horses just above the tree line and make your way to the summit on foot. At the top of the mountain (Mt Poveza (2050m)) the view is stunning and in the distance you can see the Universidad ice field and 2 volcanoes.

LodgeThat evening you will camp by a clear stream and enjoy a delicious barbecue. then relax by the camp fire, watching the stars before retiring to your tent and warm sleeping bag.

Day 3. Breakfast around the campfire, then hike back to the lodge via a beautiful waterfall.
