This intensive bike tour schedule is designed for those fans who like to mountain bike tours of trails and dirt roads. Demanding with technical uphills and downhills. These routes are mainly trails. We visited places like Lake Villarrica Caburga, Perihueico, Calafquen y Panguipulli and great view of Araucania volcanoes and typical Chilean Cuisine.
We stay in refuges, eco-camps, hotels, cabins mainly with pleasant hot spring.

Itinerary / Highlights

Day 1: Arrival to Santiago and flight to Temuco.
Upon your arrival to Santiago, take a connection flight to Temuco. You can schedule this flight with LAN or Sky airline. Arrival to Temuco airport. Here our vehicle and our guide will wait for you and then drive to Malalcahuello. Dinner.
If you decide to arrive in advance to Santiago and spend a night here, we can pick you up at the airport and transfer you to a good place. Also, we can book for you a hotel in Santiago if you need it.

Day 2: Malalcahuello - Conguillio.
Distance: 80km
Altitude gain:1.940m.
Decline gain: 1.916m.
Lowest altutide: 705m.
Highest altitude: 1.402m.
Breakfast. Depart by 9:30am towards Las Raices tunnel by a pavement road. After leave the hotel tunnel we continue for a couple kilometers before start our first climb in a dirt road, La Fusta. Length of this uphill 14km. From the highest point, we can contemplate Lonquimay and Callaqui volcanos and Sierra Nevada mountain range. Continue for 4km in a mild down hill before turn right to take La China Muerta valley, a old and rustic dirt road with several up and down. After rire our biking for several kilometers we take our final down hill that leave us towards the Conguillio Park, where we can observe Llaima Volcano. Lodging in a cabin and dinner.

Day 3: Conguillio - Sollipulli camp.
Distance: 41km
Altitude gain:1.300m.
Decline gain: 966m.
Lowest altitude: 517m.
Highest altitude: 1.234m.
Breakfast. A short MTB day to take advantage of the wonders of the area of Sollipulli. A 41km day, that start in a gentle descent to the output of Congullio Park. From here we get into the valley leading to Icalma and then take a detour to Caren. Here, after 29km we found our climb section until reach our campsite place in a middle of forest of Araucaria and Coihue trees. Accommodations in Domes (with beds and heater). Rest and relax in a hot tub. Dinner.
Option: If we still have strength, we can make a climb up a path leading to the Sollipulli volcano.

Day 4: Sollipulli - Menetue Thermal complex.
Distance: 85km
Altitude gain:1.640m.
Decline gain: 2.431m.
Lowest altutide: 373m.
Highest altitude: 1.426m.
Breakfast. Start our MTB day through the valley leading to Reigolil. This is a old-rustic road with a gentle climb of about 7km. After that we begin a long descent that ends at Km 24. From here we take a car dirt road. This section also is downhill with gentle rolling hills until our arrival Menetue Thermal complex. Here you will find our place to stay and rest in the hot springs. Dinner.

Day 5: Menetue - Quimeyco Thermal complex.
Distance: 54km
Altitude gain:2.620m.
Decline gain: 2.431m.
Lowest altutide: 373m.
Highest altitude: 1.426m.
Breakfast. MT Bike day with two major climbs. The first one with we need gain a approximately 400m of altitude, which starts in the Km10 until Km14. Then down to Curarrehue located in our km24. From here starts the main climb of the day, we need to gain of approximately 1,200 meters of altitude, to finish in the KM41. From here we began the descent to Quimeyco thermal, which is found in the Km53. Slope of this last down hill is about 1000m. Accommodation in cabin. Including dinner and spa pool. Dinner.

Day 6: Quimeyco - Pucon.
Distance: 44km
Altitude gain:704m.
Decline gain: 1.000m.
Lowest altitude: 225m.
Highest altitude: 600m.
Breakfast in the morning. Stage with many rolling hills at first kilometers, then with a smooth uphill, reaching our maximum altitude (600m) in he Km14. Down hill towards Caburga lake located in our Km19. From here the road to Pucon goes over a secondary roads that are mostly in decline. Arrival to Pucon after 44 kilometers. Accommodation in the city.

Day 7: Pucon - Coñaripe thermal complex.
Distance: 83km
Altitude gain:2.500m.
Decline gain: 2.500m.
Lowest altitude: 225m.
Highest altitude: 1.450m.
Breakfast at the hotel. This is a hard biking day in our program. Legs start to begin to feel the accumulated kilometers. At this stage we will overcome a major climb gap mainly marked by the passage between the Villarrica and Quetrupillan volcanoes. This climb has a length of 21km with a 1.000m. of elevation gain . The descent begins in a technical path with roots and ditch. After that, the soil improve and become a secondary road until reach the town of Coñaripe. From here we goes to our second climb, elevation gain: 300m., Then we continue our last Km down hill and arriving to the Baths of Coñaripe. Accommodation and hot spring pool. Dinner.

Day 8: Termas de Coñaripe - Huilo Huilo.
Distance: 60km.
Altitude gain:1.563m.
Decline gain: 1.217m.
Lowest altitude: 255m.
Highest altitude: 1.007m.
Breakfast. Departure from Coñaripe towards south. Our first kilometers goes through a rural road, then at Km15 began the climb by forest roads and single trails. This rise continues until reach a altiitude of 1.020m. completing 12km of climb. Here we will ride into the forest and began the descent that lasts for 18 km until reach the road that leads to Huilo Huilo Park to complete the final bike ride in the park. Accommodation in Hotel. Dinner.

Day 9:Huilo Huilo - Huilo Huilo.
Distance: 73km.
Altitude gain:1.657m.
Decline gain: 1.700m.
Lowest altitude: 593m.
Highest altitude: 1.450m.
Breakfast in the hotel. First stage of the day we do it for dirt road that leads to Lake Perihueico. Here we take a barge carrying vehicles that crosses Lake (2 hours) until Hua-Hum sector. Here begin our 63 km stage through the mountains to bring us back to Huilo Huilo reaching its highest point to 1.450metros on sea level. Accommodation in hotel. Dinner.

Day 10: Huilo Huilo - Temuco (Airport)
Breakfast in Hulo Huilo. Transfer to Temuco airport for your return flight.
