Mt. Triglav - The Highest Mountain in Winter Time!
A classical ascent of Slovenia's highest mountain!
For a fit walker Triglav is a safe mountain to reach in the summer time, but during the winter time it demands an experienced mountaineer. It is winter experience that you will never forget!
At 2864m, Triglav is the highest mountain in the Julian Alps and also in our country. It dominates clearly above the Julian Alps range. Many marked trails lead to the top and there are several starting points to choose from. In Winter the easiest path leads from Krma valley to Kredarica hut where we spend the night. Next morning we climb to the top of the Mt. Triglav. Climbing Triglav in winter is quite a serious affair and demands good skills and proper (winter) climbing equipment. Our experienced guides will take care of everything and you will enjoy in beautiful view from the top all to the sea (if the sky is clear enough). On the second day we will go down from the top to Kredarica hut and return the same way to Krma Valley.
