Music and Magic of Mali

This is a wonderful short trip giving you a real taste for West Africa, its music and its people. Starting in Bamako we'll head to the remarkable Dogon country for a 3 day trek before an overnight boat trip takes us downstream to the incredible mud mosque of Djenne, probably the most photographed image of West Africa. We head to the banks of the Bani river to stay at an amazing eco campsite before making our way back to Bamako via the festival town of Segou. On our return to the capital we will enjoy a great night out and enjoy the buzzing Friday night atmosphere in the city which symbolises West African music.
