Tour summary

Week 1
We leave Nairobi and enter Tanzania to Arusha. Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater side trip- two nights in the parks. Dar es Salaam on the Indian Ocean Coast.

Week 2
Dar es Salaam - ferry to Zanzibar Island. South throughTanzania we pass through Mikumi Park and on to Malawi with it beautiful lake.

Week 3
Lake Malawi & Kande beach resort, sandy beaches, swimming and snorkeling, water-skiing, horse riding Malawi chairs. Lilongwe. Zambia - South Luangwa National Park.

Days 22 to 25
Zambia capital Lusaka & Victoria Falls - Zambezi River plunges 100 metres down a mile wide chasm lots of adventure activities

Camping
Those campsites that are more basic tend to be more scenic; that is especially in the game parks where basic toilets and cold showers are the norm. After a night at such camps we do our best to follow with a hot shower bar campsite. Although in the Masai Mara are two basic nights, but the wild beauty and the animals in the park more than makes up for this.
