The Rift Valley scenic lookout its 8,000 feet high and overlooks Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha.
Crossing the Ugandan border at Malaba or Busia. The scenery changes to tropical rain forests and tea and sugar plantations.
Climbing through lush terraced hills to Kisoro, there are panoramic views of the Ugandan hills on every turn. From the road we have outlooks over three countries - Uganda, Republic of Congo, Rwanda; and the Virunga Mountains - Mountains of the Moon, the home of the rare mountain gorillas.

Week 1
Kenya, Rift Valley. Uganda Rain forests, tea & sugar plantations. Lake Victoria & Kampala the equator. Virunga Mountains - trek to Mountain Gorillas.

Week 2
Owen Falls Dam & Jinja on Lake Victoria. Bujagali Falls on the Nile River - white water rafting, grade 5. rapids. Kenya. Lake Nakuru - millions of pink flamingoes.

Week 3
Lake Naivasha - hippos graze in the evenings, Colobus monkeys in the morning. Hell's GatePark. Masai Mara - wildlife and the big five. Nairobi - restaurants night out.

Week 4
Tanzaniawe arrive in Arusha safari city. Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater side trip- camping for two nights in the park. Dar es Salaam on the Indian Ocean Coast.

Camping
Those campsites that are more basic tend to be more scenic; that is especially in the game parks where basic toilets and cold showers are the norm. After a night at such camps we do our best to follow with a hot shower bar campsite. Although in the Masai Mara are two basic nights, but the wild beauty and the animals in the park more than makes up for this.
