Perranporth Surf Lessons

Our 3 lesson package is for those who are looking to not only get coaching, but also come away with specific goals to work towards.

Surfing is a sport where you are constantly learning and at the Academy it is our aim to help you get the most out of the sport.

With 2 lessons under your belt, we focus the 3rd lesson on goal setting, helping you to help yourself as you continue down your surfing career towards that ‘perfect wave'! We make sure that you understand all the techniques you have been taught and give you little gems of advice that will keep you ‘stoked' on surfing.

Itinerary / Highlights

All equipment is included in the price of your lesson. This includes full length wetsuit and boots (depending on time of year) and a soft foam surfboard.

Beginners are allocated one of our soft foam boards especially designed for beginners. These boards are soft, buoyant, stable and easy to catch waves on.

We have a variety of different length boards to cater for all shapes and sizes so we make sure we have the perfect apparatus for you to start catching your first waves.

Perranporth is a growing town situated 10 miles South of Newquay on the North coast of Cornwall. Driving down the hill into the town, you are greeted with a picturesque view overlooking the town and beach, as it sits in a river formed valley opening out to the sea.

With onsite parking, changing room facilities, and shop the Academy is perfectly positioned to make your surf lessons as comfortable and convenient as possible from the outset.

Perranporth's tranquil and serene setting makes for a chilled and friendly atmosphere in and out of the water. The large open sandy beach and the small groups we teach allow us to increase the 'one on one' coaching and leave us the freedom to style the lesson to your needs.
