Days 1-2 SantiagoGet to know this cosmopolitan capital, from its web of interesting shops to its picturesque Plaza de Armas. Learn about Chile's winemaking history on a vineyard tour, then sample some of its famed reds and whites.
Days 3-4 Puerto Varas
Fly south into the beautiful Lake District, home to smoking volcanoes, thick green forests, snow-capped mountains and vibrant lakes. Relax in charming Puerto Varas, explore the nearby lakeside villages or hike through the hills surrounding the seething Osorno Volcano.
Days 5-6 Bariloche
Take an optional hike around the base of Cerro Catedral or hit the slopes for some world-class skiing. Bariloche is also renowned for its fine restaurants and chocolates, so why not indulge in some local epicurean delights.
Days 7-9 Buenos Aires
Stroll the streets of Recoleta, one of the city's most picturesque suburbs, also home to many interesting museums. Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA) features the work of several great Latin American artists and is well worth a visit.
Days 10-11 Iguazu Falls
Be wowed by epic Iguazu Falls. View this stunning natural wonder from both the Argentine and Brazilian sides.
Days 12-13 Paraty
Explore the cobblestone, pedestrian-only streets while taking in the rustic charm of this once-booming port town. Take a boat trip to explore the Bay of Paraty and its many beautiful islands.
Days 14-15 Rio de Janeiro
For incredible views over Rio visit Corcovado, home to the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer. There's also opportunity to take an optional cable car to the top of Sugarloaf.
