The island is surrounded by coral reefs and home to over 2500 fish species, making it a great dive destination. The island is still fairly undiscovered by divers and so the dive sites are not overcrowded.

When you are not diving there are plenty of alternative activities on this beautiful and diverse island..

Hire a jeep into the interior where you can trek up a live volcano that rises up from the crater of a huge dormant volcano. Visit small handicraft villages and meet friendly smiling locals or the monkey forest where you can hand feed the monkeys. Bali also offers a wide range of alternative activities such as trekking or surfing, for which the island is renowned.

Of course you can always relax on of of the palm fringed, golden beaches.
