The diving here is incredible, coral garden underwater cities, the chance to snorkel and dive with wild dolphins and night dives on the house reefs that will blow your mind! This remote and deserted retreat is an experienced divers haven. It is the last southern frontier in Egypt for fringent reefs and accesible diving; one of the last untouched dive locations in the Egyptian Red Sea.

Ecolodge Wadi Lahami Village is our third village settled in a sheltered bay just above Ras Banas, directly opposite the multitude off shore reefs collectively known as the Fury Shoals. It's the most southern Eco-village of Red Sea Diving Safari. This remote bay is located 393 km / 5 hours South of Hurghada Airport, 180km /2 hours south of Marsa Alam Airport, and 120km south of Marsa Alam Village. The Village houses 16 Chalets and 30 Tents.

From Wadi Lahami we dive the walls and habilis (Arabic word for pillars) of the offshore reefs of the Fury Shoals and the in-shore local reefs of Wadi Lahami. These offshore chain-reefs are filled with very rich marine life. Pelagic fishes, such as jacks, tuna, sharks and rays are cruising visitors. The hard corals, which make up the reef topography of Fury Shoals, are believed to be the one of best examples in the world. This remote area still offers a sense of exploration and discovery. Throughout the entire Red Sea there is no comparable area blessed with the most extensive and remarkable coral forest.

This is a great opportunity to dive the ‘deep south’ sites, whilst having the freedom and flexibility of being land based. This place is for adventurous divers seeking the opportunity to discover pristine reefs in a no frills “close to nature” expedition environment.
