Skiing in top French Resorts
What do we organise?
We organise catered Chalet holidays to the French Alps to go Skiing & snowboarding. We are based in SEEZ which is 5 min from the Funicular into Les Arcs. We are within 20 min from Tignes, Val D'Isere, La Plagne, Saint Foy & La Rossiere so we offer a flexible lift pass option where you can go to any of these local resorts The main resort is Les Arcs.
The resorts you will have the opportunity to Ski in are Les Arcs, La Plagne, Tignes, Val D'Isere, La Rossiere and Sain Foy (pure powder riding!)
The food is prepared by an Italian Chef and they will prepare a continental breakfast, optional pack lunch, snacks and cakes in early evening and 3 course evening meal with unlimited wine. There will be Local Savoie specialities such as Racklette, Fondue and Pierre Chaud during your stay.
We will organise transport if necessary and transfers to Bourg St Maurice train and coach station. we will take you to the resort or Funicular train every morning and collect you at the end of the day. We will also organise your Lift pass if required. we will work with your group to ensure that you get the best form of transport that suits your group as well as ensuring you have a great holiday with minimum hassle and effort on your part.
We will organise a bar crawl in Les arcs 1800 every Monday and another optional evening out in the week dependant on demand.
If you require Ski Equipment we can recommend a local hire shop.
we also organise Heli skiing/ snowboarding and the helicopter pick up less than 10 min from the chalet.

We will prepare a continental Breakfast each morning (and a fry up one of the days!), you will then get ready to go skiing. we will take you to the resort you have chosen the evening before. The chalet will be cleaned and tidied while you are on the slopes. we will meet at the end of the day in a bar and then head back to the chalet where there will be tea/ coffee and snacks waiting for you. You will get washed and changed ready for dinner.
There will be a 3 course meal with unlimited wine during the meal. we will prepare some local speciality foods on some of the days.
The evening it is up to you to do what you like. There are various board games and books and magazines available. There is a flat screen TV/ DVD player and a stereo. We will organise optional nights out to go to bars and clubs. (pub crawl Monday)
Resort Information:
The main resort is Les Arcs/ La Plagne, where you literally have everything you can wish for from great off piste, good snow parks, tree runs, variery of slopes (the longest piste in Europe) and the largest ski area in Europe since Les Arcs and La Plagne were linked together.
Tignes/ Val D'Isere know world wide as being one of the top places to go Skiing. There are some of the toughest pistes in Europe such as La Face in Val D'Isere (a very steep icy black run!). There are pistes for all abilities however. For those of you who like your free style skiing, there are 2 snowparks, 2 half pipes, fantastic off piste with cliff drops to road gaps feature in many magazines. The glacier allows for all year round boarding with a large snow park.
La Rossiere is an underground resort that has good snow and is quite quiet which is perfect to avoid those holiday queues!
Saint Foy is the hidden gold mine of the area! It is amazing for off piste, with very small amounts of pistes and lifts allowing for days of un touched powder heaven! |

Chalet Description:
Sleeps 10-12 adults. 3 double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, 2 x 'bunk rooms' sleeps 2 or 3. 1 main bathroom with bath and toilet, and 2 other separate toilets. Very spacious living room (35m2) with flat screen TV and DVD player and stereo. Mezzanine used as a games/ chill out area with TV and Playstation. A selection of board games and magazines. There is a large sun terrace with outdoor BBQ and a large balcony with superb views.
A good size kitchen with dishwasher and all appliances you could require.
Garage and board back, and a boot storage/ drying room.
Local Shops:
There are 2 large supermarkets 5 min drive from the chalet. A bakery and small local shop which is 1 min drive from the chalet. There are 2 good snowboard shops, clothes shops, equipment hire shops, 2 electrical goods stores, sports shops, a DIY store, tobacconist, butchers, boulangerie all within 5 min drive away.
Doctors/Hospitals:
The Doctors and pharmacy is within 5 min drive and the hospital is 20 min drive.
Bars & Clubs:
There are bars from 1 min drive away.
There are clubs and lots more bars in Les Arcs 1800 (20 min drive). We Recommend Benjis and La Jungle for good bars, and Apocalypse night club for those of you who want to have a dance. Le Kebab is just next door and they make the best Kebabs in the area! (During the winter we organise evening out to Les Arcs 1800)
Val D'Isere (20 min drive) has a very good selection of bars and clubs also.
Kids Activities:
In Bourg t Maurice (5 min drive) there is a kids club where they look after your children and take them on activity adventures and sports such as horse riding, swimming, roller hockey, volley ball, orienteering, walking, climbing and much more! |
