A 60 minute scenic low-level flight over the Daintree Rainforest from Cairns to historic Lizard Island brings you to your vessel and the adventure begins. Enjoy the spectacle of migrating Humpback Whales and the very sociable Dwarf Minkes, before the unforgettable encounter in the water with these magnificent ocean creatures.

Fully-certified snorkel instructors and a marine biologist are at hand to guide you through the fascinating world of the Dwarf Minke Whale and the beautiful coral gardens and pinnacles of the reef, ensuring minimal impact on this unique underwater environment.

Itinerary & Highlights
Day 1 - 1 hr Low level scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree rainforest to Lizard Island. Board your floating retreat in Watson's Bay harbour. Spend the afternoon sea kayaking around the island or take in the wonders of Lizard Island with a guided walk up to Captain Cook's lookout.,

Day 2 and 3 - Cruise to the outer reef for a morning snorkel and explore the coral gardens. After lunch we locate a pod of Minke Whales and prepare to snorkelling up close and personal with the Minkes. These eye to eye encounters can last for many hours as the Minkes have a natural curiosity to divers. each evening we return to our anchorage next to Lizard Island.

Day 4 Morning sea kayaking around the Blue lagoon, a farewell BBQ lunch on board before your afternoon flight over the reef back to Cairns.
