Malawi is a land-locked country, but it has hundreds of kilometres of 'coastline' around Lake Malawi. The clear waters of this beautiful lake are full of tropical fish, making it perfect for snorkelling, swimming or sailing. You will be seduced by the relaxed atmosphere & a perfect break half-way through your journey.

The game viewing possibilities in Kruger are excellent. The Big Five & buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino & are all here, along with another 142 species of mammal and 507 species of bird. So you are guaranteed to see something! The rivers and waterholes are great places to see wildlife encounters acted out right in front of you, and your visit here will definitely be a highlight of your journey through south-east Africa.Your tour starts with a bang at Victoria Falls. These awe-inspiring falls are nearly 2km wide and it is difficult to appreciate the power of the water surging into the Zambezi Gorge over 100m below. There are plenty of adventurous optional activities to choose from here once you have spent some time marvelling at the natural spectacle, including white water rafting, kayaking, and bungee jumping.

Travel overland from Victoria Falls (‘The Smoke that Thunders') through the savannahs of the Serengeti to the shores of Lake Malawi, enjoying game viewing, canoeing and snorkelling. From here, your journey continues to the beautiful Indian Ocean beaches of Mozambique before returning inland to Kruger National Park and a final opportunity to spot some big game. Your final destination is Johannesburg, South Africa's largest city.
