Speedflying is the hot new way to glide down a mountain. It involves miniature gliders and a combination of skis which allows for a fast descent, riding, sliding, jumping and even flying over obstacles at speed even higher of 70km/h - 40mph !!!
You start speedriding on hills and then move to small jumps and eventually multiple touch before attacking steep mountains. Snow slopes are the original form however, sand dunes and all terrain boards and skis have been employed during recent months.
Also 'foot-launched on high wind' is becoming a sport on its own.
So ready to try the new fun ?
