Stag Weekend in Normandy

A perfect Stag Do involves more than choosing a great active holiday, playing a cracking round of golf or throwing the Stag off a bungy platform!

Hog Roast:
The ceremony of watching a whole pig being slowly turned and roasted on a spit in the outdoors, will make your mouth water with delight. Sourced from a local farm and delivered to the fire-pit at the farmhouse, your suckling pig will be chosen for the size of the group. The chef will baste the meat over 6 hours to ensure the crispiest skin and most succulent meat, before he over-sees the ritual beheading of the pig by the Stag!

RARA Activities:
RARA really is the Best Mans best man as we will take the pressure away from you and organise your best mates Stag Party. Just tell us what his wishes are and we will do the rest.

The flexi allows the group to experience one or two new activities a day. When you book your Stag Party we plan the package with you so that you can choose the activities that really suit your interests. There are over 30 activities to choose from, so there is something for everyone to really help celebrate this special weekend away.

The aroma of barbecued meat will meet you on your return home from an active day. After feasting on a banquet of tender pork with apple-sauce, crackling, braised red cabbage, and potatoes roasted alongside the pig, you'll be left to share stories around an open fire in the garden

On a RocknRoll Adventures weekend everything is taken care of, from planning the activities of the day to providing a delicious evening meal. You are free to focus all your energy on celebrating this special time and making the trip a really memorable occasion to look back on.

A guide will escort you to activities, be on hand should you have any queries, and make sure everything runs smoothly during your day.

Choose from two accommodation options. Staying in comfortable farmhouse-style accommodation in a quiet rural village in Northern France, you will receive RocknRoll Adventure's personalised home-from-home service. Our welcoming hosting creates a friendly environment where you can relax after a satisfying day of activities. Evening meals are home-cooked from delicious fresh produce, and carefully designed so that each night you feel that you are a guest at your very own dinner party! If you would like the alternative of a night in the city with the buzz and nightlife it has to offer, we will find you a central, handpicked hotel and recommend a tried and tested restaurant.

As the Stag weekends we can organise vary so much, below is just an example of a Stag weekend we organised for 15 people last year.

Day One: Arrive on the overnight Ferry from Portsmouth at 0700. Breakfast in a cafe on Riva Bella Beach just next to the Ferry Port.
AM: 18 holes of Golf at Omaha Beach golf Club.
PM: 45 minute transfer South into the Normandy Countryside to a riverside farmhouse retreat.

Evening meal Whole spit roasted pig and a local barrel of beer to wash it down.

Day 2: Breakfast - Croissants, Fresh Bread, Sausages/Bacon, yogurts and fruit, orange juice,coffee and tea.
AM: Day at the Lake Wake boarding, water skiing, donuts, Tennis, Beach volley ball, ping pong, table football, cafe overlooking the lake, private members enclosure for sun bathing and chilling out in the sun/shade.

PM: BBQ (chicken kebabs and homemade burgers)
PM: Make our way to Caen for a night out on the town.
Evening meal local port side seafood restaurant, followed by a few local bars playing live music.

Day 3: A morning spent relaxing on the beach reflecting on the weekend.
Lunch time Fast Cat Ferry back to Portsmouth.
