Start Yachting in Cowes
Famed as the birthplace of yacht racing, Cowes offers sheltered sailing in the Solent and a tidal pattern to challenge the navigator. Flying Fish welcomes you to yachting in a friendly and relaxed environment, designed to achieve results. One of our experienced skippers will guide you and fellow crew members through our two day taster course and introduce you to the basics of sailing and seamanship. By the end of the course, you will have experienced steering a yacht, sail handling, ropework and be aware of safety on board. The course starts and finishes at Port Hamble Marina.
