Surf Andalusia

Andalusia is definitely one of Spain's best kept surfing secrets and a must visit destination for any type of surfer.

Facing out into the North Atlantic, the whole coastline receives high quality swells that are frequently met by calm and sunny weather conditions, making this part of Spain an ideal surfing destination. Autumn and Spring are the best times of the year to surf in South Spain.

The Costa de la Luz receives over 3000 hours of sunshine every year and with a Mediterranean style climate and Atlantic surfing conditions, you will not be disappointed if you decide this is the spot for your surf holiday

The bustling little town of Conil de la Frontera is our Southern Spain base. This small town is fast becoming popular with summer tourists. However, it is still a typical Andalucian town with narrow cobbled streets, tapas bars and an open air market at weekends and pavement cafes around the main plazas.

For some Spanish city adventuring on a day off, Seville is around and hour and a half's drive away.

Errant Surf School
Errant has a fantastic surf school that operates in El Palmar, an extensive sandy beach with waves suitable for beginners to experts. The professional team of surfing instructors are all fully qualified beach lifeguards and BSA endorsed. All our equipment is of the highest standard and ideally suited to the needs of our students. This is an ideal, beautiful environment for people to learn or improve their surfing! Surf lessons are run on a two hour basis usually 11am until 1pm and then later in the day, 4.30pm until 6:30pm. This may change depending on local swell and weather conditions.

Accommodation Details

We have a brand new apartment that is centrally located in Conil de la Frontera. Just a short walk from the beautiful beaches of La Fontanilla and El Roqeuo and only minutes away from the municipal market, this apartment is the ideal location for your holiday.

The accommodation is shared with other guests of the surf camp. In each apartment the maximum number of guests is five people.

The surfing lessons take place on the beach of El Palmar. Depending on the weather and ocean conditions most surfing will take place in El Palmar. Transport is available on a daily basis to and from the beach of El Palmar for the duration of the surfing lessons.
