Surfing & Digital Photography

Enjoy Jacó's favorite pastime while taking Digital Photography classes in one of the most inspiring locations in the world. This program includes daily surfing instruction and approximately two hours per day of Digital Photography classes.

- Kayak/Snorkel Trip - Kayak along the coast and snorkel in the warm tropical waters of the Pacific. A variety of marine life can be seen around the reefs including tropical fish, lobster, corals, and much more.

We offer 2 and 4 week programs as well.

The digital photography course is designed to improve students' proficiency and quality of photographs as well as understanding of their digital camera and its capabilities. Students learn the basics of photography, including topics such as light & exposure, ISO, aperture settings, shutter speeds, and composition. Students also learn what makes digital cameras differ from film cameras and are introduced to digital editing (using Photoshop) on the computer. Students are required to bring their own digital camera (with memory card and download cable) and laptops are optional. No pre-requisite is required and all skill levels are welcome. Course includes many field trips to shoot on location.
