The Boreal Snowmobiling Raid

This is the ultimate snowmobiling trip in Canada, driving along freeways, shooting off into unknown territory as you plough through the snow, just you and your team of riders have awesome fun in snow at speed. Canada is simply an awesome place to snowmobile compared to other places in the world, the snow is excellent condition, and the experience just awesome - all the tracks are well marked and all have snowmobiling signs - if you really want to enjoy playing in the snow then you need a snowmobiling vacation.

All packages above include a snowmobile per person and all riders must be 21 or over and present a valid international drivers license before you will be given the keys. Prices are Per Person and do NOT include flights to Montreal (airport code: YUL).
Day 1 – Montreal / Trois-Rives
Arrival and shuttle from the airport to the Auberge Mattawin or similar (clients must sometime wait for passengers travelling on other flights). (D. depending on flight arrival time)

Day 2 – Trois-Rives / SaintÉlie-de-Caxton (160 km)
Explanation of safety guidelines, technical advices and initial training. You then leave by snowmobile on the frozen waters of the majestic Saint-Maurice River. After a fabulous journey, you’ll take advantage of a fondue feast and a night in a luxurious log cabin: the Saint-Elie Lodge or similar. (B, L, D)

Day 3 – Saint-Élie-de-Caxton / Saint-Donat (167 km)
The adventure continues across the spectacular sceneries of the Lanaudière region. An impressive network of trails and a wild territory sparkled with quaint villages make this region a true paradise for snowmobilers! Depending on the snow conditions, you will probably have the opportunity to travel through the famous Ouareau River suspended bridge and to admire the ice sculptures of the Saint-Côme village. Dinner and night at the Auberge Saint-Donat or similar. (B, L, D)

Day 4 – Saint-Donat / Manawan First Nation Reserve (near by)(188 km)
After the breathtaking crossing of the frozen Archambeault Lake, you will discover today the pristine territories of the Hight-Lanaudière area. On our way, we will stop for lunch near the gigantic Taureau Reservoir which, when winter arrives, looks like a white desert. The raid will then take us in the vicinities of the Manawan First Nation Reserve. Welcome in the Attikamekws territory! Our destination: a remotely located fishing and hunting club which is completely isolated from the rest of the civilization! Dinner and night at the Pourvoirie Lac du Repos or similar. (B, L, D)

Day 5 – Manawan First Nation Reserve (near by) / Trois-Rives (167 km)
After an exhilarating ride along one of Quebec’s prettiest trails and during which you will ride between the Saint-Maurice Wildlife Reserve and the Mauricie National Park, you will be warmly welcomed in a magnificent and cozy traditional lodge located in the vicinity of the majestic Saint-Maurice Valley. Dinner and night at the Auberge le Montagnard or similar. (B, L, D)

Day 6 – Trois-Rives / Montreal or Quebec City** (147 km)
To crown it all, you will now take advantage of a free day during which several optional activities ($$$) are available: a day of dog sledding or a day of multi activities. Back at the adventure centre at the end of the day, you’ll take advantage of a farewell dinner during which you’ll have the opportunity to discuss about your adventures before the transfer to Montreal. Night at the Roberval Hotel or similar. (B, L, D)

Day 7 – Montreal
Those who returned to Montreal the night before will take advantage of some free time to discover the city before their transfer to the airport. (B)
