Itinerary & Highlights
Monday - Transfers, Introduction & Dinner
We will meet you at Dalaman Airport and transfer to our hotel in Dalyan. This evening we will head into town for our introductory dinner and a few drinkies!
Tuesday - White Water Rafting
We drive to the fast-flowing Dalaman River for a fabulous white water rafting descent. The Dalaman attracts white water addicts from around the world. You won’t be bored! Lunch included.
Wednesday - Saklikent Gorge and Tubing
A rushing river and towering cliffs characterise the stunning 16km long gorge at Saklikent. After exploring on foot we jump on our tubes to spin and twist down the meandering waters of the Karacay River. We also stop for a therapeutic (honest) mud bath/fight!
Thursday - Sea Kayaking
The trendiest mode of transport in the Mediterranean - sea kayaks help us reach the sunken city of Kekova. Further on, we stop for lunch in the village of Simena which is inaccessible by road and boasts a medieval hilltop castle. Lunch included.
Friday - Free Day or Optional Activities
Today is free for you to try additional activities such as scuba diving, horse riding or paragliding.
Saturday - Mountain Biking
We drive into the mountains behind Kas and discover a completely different world populated by farmers and goat herders. There’s a technical stretch at the start and a difficult ascent midway but for the most part we’ll be able to take in the views as we cycle along country roads and tracks. Your reward is the descent into Kalkan at the end of the ride. That alone is worth the trip to Turkey!
Sunday - Lazy Boat Day
Want to wind down before going home? Forget luxury spas and massages, forget cooling creams and seaweed wraps, the only true way to relax is on an Activities Abroad lazy boat day.
Our private boat leaves from the harbour in Kas and explores the islands and inlets of this dramatic and spectacular stretch of the Lycian Coast. Sunbathe, snooze, swim, snorkel, learn to master the best board game in the world backgammon, muck about in the water and generally just chill out. It’s bliss and a barbecue lunch just tops things off nicely. This evening’s farewell dinner in Kas is a time to reflect and exchange addresses, usually into the early hours.
Monday - Return Transfers to Dalaman Airport
Sorry folks but all good things must come to an end as we transfer back to Dalaman for your flights home. |

Details
We spend two nights at the Ozalp in Dalyan and 5 nights at the Ekici in Kas. Both are three-star hotels with en-suite and air-conditioned rooms as well as a swimming pool. They are ideally situated to take advantage of the bars and restaurants of the respective town centres.
