Chocks away! You're about to take a flight in a Tiger Moth - the quintessential English biplane. Absorb the magnificent views from the open cockpit as you fly over the rolling British countryside with the wind in your hair.

You'll experience open cockpit flying and relive the golden era of aviation when flying was all about adventure, freedom and fun.

Itinerary / Highlights

* Scenic ride in an open cockpit Tiger Moth plane
* You can have a go at flying the plane yourself
* Take home a flight certificate of your day

Your experience will start with a comprehensive briefing during which you will be issued with your flying jacket & helmet (and a white scarf of course in some locations!). You will then take to the skies in the Tiger Moth. After the introductory briefing, you are kitted out like a real 1930's Tiger Moth Pilot, then up, up and away. Your instructor will show you how to fly the plane and then give you the chance to try it for yourself.

If you are feeling adventurous, there is even time to view the World turned upside-down in some aerobatic manoeuvres like a loop or a victory roll (but it's not compulsory, you can stay right-side up all the time if you wish). All flights are with qualified flying instructors and are intended to be of an instructional as well as recreational nature. The flight also includes a pre-flight briefing which lasts about 15 minutes.

This briefing goes through the basic controls of the aircraft which are demonstrated during the flight. After the flight the instructor will also de-brief their student and present them with their own 'Certificate of Flight' personalised with the instructors comments.
