Tour du Mont Blanc - Full Circuit

One of the most popular long distance treks in Europe approximately 170 kms in length with an accumulation of 9,500 mtrs of height gain. Starting and finishing in the Chamonix valley the route circumnavigates the ‘Mont Blanc Massif’ taking in some of the most spectacular alpine scenery whilst trekking through France, Italy & Switzerland.

Itinerary / Highlights
Day 1: Arrival & transfer from Geneva airport to the hotel in the Chamonix Valley. Early evening welcome & trek briefing.Day 2: We will commence our trek from the traditional TMB starting point of Les Houches 1007m, Col du Tricot at 2120m before descending to the Chalets du Miage, Les Contamines and on to our accommodation for the night at Nant Borrant.
Day 3: We start day 3 with a steady climb to the Col du Bonhomme 2329m, Croix du Bonhomme 2483m We then descend to the remote alpine village of Chapieux and to the Refuge de la Nova.
Day 4: From Chapieux to the Col du Seigne 2516m and across the Italian boarder with sunning views of the Italian side of the Mont Blanc Massif. We continue through the Val Veny to our accommodation for the night at the Refuge Maison Vielle 1956m.
Day 5: Descend to Courmayeur 1226m and ascend to the Refuge Bertone 1989m, traverse above the stunning Val Ferret: before reaching or accommodation at the Refuge Bonatti 2025m.
Day 6: From Refuge Bonatti to the Co du Ferret 2537m. Crossing the boarder into Switzerland and descent to the beautiful Swiss Val ferret and La Fouly 1610m to the Hotel Edelweiss.
Day 7: A relatively easy day walking down the Val Ferret we make our ascent through the woods to the picture postcard village of Champex-Lac 1466m and our resting place for the evening.
Day 8: from Champex Lac to Alpage Bovine 1987m above Martigny, Col du Forclaz 2191m and Trient 1279m as we reach accommodation for the night.
Day 9: The final day of the tour takes us steeply up to the Col du Balme 2191m we end the day with a descent to the beautiful village of La Tour at the head of the Chamonix Valley before heading back to Chamonix.
Day 10: Farewell and departure via private transfer to Geneva Airport.
