Alpujarras & Sierra Nevada
A series of day walks take you into the heart of the Alpujarras. You'll explore the mountainous valleys between the high sierra and the arid coastal range, passing through whitewashed villages and stunning forests. There is the option to take a 4WD excursion up Mulhacen to walk (weather permitting) to the highest peak in mainland Spain. Finally from Trevelez village you have access to the upper slopes of the Sierra Nevada - for an easy potter up a tree lined river valley or a testing ascent of one of the nearby peaks.
