Treasures of the Nile - An Adventure Collection Family Holiday

From Aswan, join your cruise boat for the classic river journey to Luxor. You will spend three nights relaxing and watching daily life on the Nile pass by, stopping to explore the magnificent temples at Edfu and Kom Ombo.
Once in Luxor your journey into Egypt’s magnificent history continues with a visit to the legendary Valley of the Kings, burial site of the boy-king Tutankhamun and a calesh (horsedrawn carriage) ride to the mighty Karnak Temple. From Cairo travel by comfortable sleeper train south along the Nile valley to Aswan, gateway to Nubia and Africa beyond. In Aswan there’s plenty of time to wander along the Nile or explore the city’s bazaars before enjoying dinner with a local Nubian family.
You start your Egyptian adventure at the awe-inspiring Pyramids and Sphinx, before visiting the renowned Egyptian Museum, home of Tutankhamun’s gold and a host of treasures from this ancient land.
