Itinerary / Highlights
Day 1: El CalafateArrive at El Calafate at any time, no planned activity, so check in at your hotel and explore this small town.
Day 2: El Calafate & Moreno Glaciar Tour
Early in the morning, for enjoy a full day excursion into Glaciers National Park, including a visit to the continental ice shelf and Moreno Glacier, optional boat trip.
Day 3 to 9: Puerto Natales / Torres del Paine National Park / Rio Serrano
Our journey takes us south again along the unpaved road to the border of Chile. We spend a relaxing evening in scenic Puerto Natales before our trip to the spectacular Paine National Park, where we spend the next two nights camping among the dramatic granite pillars that dominate the landscape. From our campsite we will take day hikes to observe some of the striking scenery of this protected area, home to a variety of animal and plant life. After the amassing trekking, we will take our van to Rio Serrano to take our kayaks down river in an awesome paddling through the icebergs of Serrano Glacier.
Arriving back in Puerto Natales in the afternoon of day 9th
Day 10: Punta Arenas
Local bus to Punta Arenas, Chile's southernmost city, facing the Estrecho de Magallanes. You will have time to explore this lively city until your departure.
