Itinerary / Highlights

Day 1 : Arrival to Istanbul – Fly to Antalya

Arrive at the Istanbul Airport. Early evening flight to Antalya, and transfer to hotel in town.

Day 2 : Aspendos – Perge visits and walk in the Gulluk National Park

Visit to the theatre and Roman aqueduct in Aspendos. Short afternoon drive to ancient city of Perge, then a trek to dramatic ancient city ruins of Termessus in Gulluk Dag National Park.

Day 3 : Demre visit and Myra walk

Morning drive to Demre, home of St. Nicholas. Travel inland to Roman ruins at Myra, with the largest theatre in Lycia, and impressive rock-hewn Lycian tombs in the cliffside.

Day 4 : Kekova, Pirate Walk

Exploring the ancient trails near Kekova, followed by a private cruise to Kekova Island to explore the sunken underwater shipyard ruins and the hilltop castle refuge.

Day 5 : Kalkan and Patara walk

Morning drive to Kalkan-Kalamaki, with walks through the area’s Cyclopean architecture and a trek to the ruins of Patara.

Day 6 : Xanthos walk and drive to Gocek

Drive to ancient Lycian capital of Xanthos and a tour of the different styles of stonework left by four different civilizations. Explore the bay by boat from Gocek, followed by a brisk walk through woodland trails.

Day 7 : Fly to Istanbul

Morning drive to Dalaman Airport and flight to Istanbul for your international departure.
