Sunsail’s Turgutreis flotilla holiday cruises the breathtakingly beautiful coastline of Turkey. Depending of you departure dates, you will have to explore either the north or the South coast.
Sunsail’s Turgutreis South Flotilla Holiday cruises south across the Gulf of Gokova, along the southern coast of the Bodrum peninsula. The coastline is constantly changing – tree-lined hills slope down to picture-perfect bays where the finest Turkish gulets are moored and beautiful beaches beckon you for a swim or snorkel in crystal clear waters.Turgutreis South Flotilla sailing also takes in stops at the ancient site of Halicarnassus and Bodrum Castle, now home to the Museum of Underwater Archaeology.
The Turgutreis North Flotilla sailing cruises the wonderful coastline of the northern Gulf of Gulluk. The waters of the southern shore of the Bodrum peninsula are clear and translucent, ranging from pale turquoise to deepest blue and are ideal for lazy afternoons spent swimming and snorkelling. Turgutreis North Flotilla sailing takes in stops at the ancient city of Lassos with the ruins of Roman villas, the sunken city of Myndos, lively towns with bustling markets, the sophisticated resort at Maya Marina and numerous waterfront restaurants serving excellent fish.
In July and August, the Turgutreis Flotilla is a family flotilla and you can combine both of Turgutreis Flotillas to make a two-week flotilla holiday.
Turgutreis Flotilla sailing is suited for confident sailors with a good amount of previous sailing experience. Summer temperatures average 30 C. Winds are generally north-westerly, ranging from 10 – 20 knots, and are stronger in the afternoons, dropping to complete stillness at night.
Brisk cooling breezes make for ideal sailing conditions. Navigation is line-of-sight. There is a regatta on the last day with a fun race back to base in time for the farewell party.

Cokertme & 29 miles, 6 hours
Pine and olive trees line the slopes behind this scenic bay where you will see some of the finest Turkish Gulets in the area.
Day 3
Akbuk & 17 miles, 3 hours
High mountains surround this impressive bay and there are plenty of restaurants ashore for you to choose from.
Day 4
Degirmen Buku ( English Harbour) & 9 miles, 2 hours
Walk like an Egyptian along Cleopatras Beach as you feel real African sand between your toes. This sand was imported thousands of years ago.
Day 5
Free Sailing
Day 6
Bodrum
Enjoy a night in Bodrum with exclusive restaurants, boutiques and bazaars, and famous night clubs.
Day 7
Return to Flotilla Base, Turgutreis & 19 miles, 3-4 hours
Enjoy a fun race back to base before letting your hair down at the farewell party.
