Ultimate Powerboat Day

This is your chance to drive two of the fastest and most exciting powerboats in the UK. The Honda Formula 4-Stroke championship (HF4S) is the largest and most exhilarating offshore powerboat series in the world. The power supplied and strength of G-force means this one has to be tried and tested in order to appreciate the grace of this highly responsive racing machine.

During this experience the Driver (usually a current or past racer) will head into the Solent to show what the boat can do. After the ferocious 4 stroke it is time for the Suzuki Hyper Cat. The Suzuki Hyper Cat is one of the fastest production powerboats in the world and can power through almost any water at high speed, sending the boat flying high above the surface. This High performance Hyper Cat demands respect and makes a wonderful experience.

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of controlling these immensely powerful machines. You are then to get changed into the official racing team kit and safety gear before moving out onto the water.

The boats have comfortable secure seating and the experience is suitable for all adventure seekers You will spend approx 2 Hours in the Honda Race Boat.

You will then return to the base for lunch and to mentally prepare yourself for round 2 hours in the awesome Suzuki Hyper Cat. Fantastically satisfying way to quench your thirst for speed!

Please note this experience is not suitable for those with a serious back or heart complaint or for pregnant women.

Duration:
Please allow a full day for your experience (approx 10 am - 4 pm).

What to Wear / Equipment:
Please wear jeans or shorts and trainers or boat shoes. Please also bring a change of clothes- just in case. The centre will provide all other necessary equipment such as waterproof jackets & life jackets etc.

Group Size / Spectators:
Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the shore.

Weather:
This experience can be affected by extreme weather, please check with the centre before setting off.
