About the hotel
The Villa Trapp was occupied by missionaries from 1947 to 2008. The order had a very reserved life in the property, and the villa was not open to the public. Now this has changed. You can now stay as a guest in the rooms where the von Trapp family lived. You can sleep in the rooms of the family members and wonder alongside the train-tracks.Every room is decorated appropriately for the time, but you will experience today's comfort and a high standard of living in every detail. Several of the rooms are dedicated to the erstwhile character, or the family member who lived there.The rooms of the family are now the suites of the guests. In the Trapp suite the baron once had his office, in the Royal suite they were fed, in the Tower suite they had tea. In every corridor, in every corner you will find the past of a world famous family.
