Water Sports Short Break in Normandy

Start your holiday with a splash at the lake on rubber donuts, wakeboarding or waterskiing. Sample the flavours of the countryside on our local food-tasting mountain-bike tour. Glide down river in a canoe and watch the countryside slip by.

The trip starts with a splash at the local lake where you get the chance to water ski, wakeboard or whiz round behind a speedboat in a giant rubber ring.

Next enjoy fun off-road 10km mountain biking, Food Tasting Tour.

At local farms along the way, you will sample local honey, goat's cheese and the finest cider and calvados, ingredients in some of our mouth-watering recipes. Meet baby goats and learn about how honey is made.

On the final day you can share laughs and memories of your trip, watching the scenery go by while cruising down the River Orne on a 12km kayak journey.

Day 1 - A Day at the lake (wakeboarding, waterskiing, donuts): this activity takes place at a picturesque lake surrounded by trees hidden deep in the Normandy countryside . You are a guest at a private water ski club for the day. When you're not whizzing around behind or in the boat, either relax in the sun by the side of the lake, or if you feel more active you can play beach volley ball, tennis, ping pong or table football. On site facilities consist of: Cafe, changing rooms, toilets and hot showers. We finish the day with a scrumptious home cooked 3 course meal (using fresh ingredients brought from local markets and farms) and wine.

Day 2 - Kicks off with a continental style breakfast of freshly baked French bread, croissants from the local bakery, jams, fresh fruit, yoghurts, tea, coffee and fruit juice. The fabulous Mountain bike Food Tasting Tour will take you beside rivers, through flower filled meadows, woods and quaint villages. On this tour you will taste goats cheese, honey and cider where it is produced at the local farms. To give your legs a rest we stop halfway for refreshments and lunch at a pretty local Cafe situated right on the banks of the river. The day concludes with another mouth watering 3 course evening meal at RocknRoll's riverside farmhouse.

Day 3 - After breakfast we take a relaxing kayak down the River Orne.

This unforgettable weekend concludes with an alfresco lunch in the garden.
