Eidfjord itself offers a unique natural environment. With large contrasts and small distances you can experience the most and best Norway has to offer. Located in Eidfjord we have direct access to the most spectacular Norwegian nature. The owners of FlatEarth have more than 25 years of experience in instruction as well as arranging sports camps and guided tours. This is your guarantee of safety and extraordinary quality.

Eidfjord has excellent rivers for White Water Kayaking, for all levels of difficulty. We offer instruction in river paddling techniques and paddling in white water, grade 1-3 according to the skills of the group. All equipment and instruction is included in our courses. River sections offering higher difficulty levels are easily accessible, FlatEarth will guide you to these sections, but we are not offering official courses at this level. Itinerary / Highlights

Eidfjord is surrounded by glaciers, high mountain plateau, rivers and waterfalls & and of course the breath taking fjord landscapes. In addition to the physical activities Eidfjord offers you magnificent sights and attractions such as galleries, churches and one of the most modern nature and cultural-historical experience centres in Norway: Hardangervidda Nature Centre Eidfjord. This centre is located only a 200 m. from FlatEarth Activity Centre.

You can combine the holiday with a small sight seeing in Bergen, “the capital of the Fjords”. Visit the Fish Market or take a stroll along the “Brygge” (the board walk) From Bergen it is only 150 km to Eidfjord, the innermost town in the Hardangerfjord. The trip along the Hardangerfjord is spectacular, so allow yourself the time to take it all in!

This is a half day activity so accommodation is not included in the price. We have hostel accommodation from £75 per week and Apartment accommodation from £10 pppn.
