Itinerary / Highlights
The Soca river:-The source of the Soca river issues forth from the heart of the Julian Alps, near the border with Italy. The so-called EMERALD RIVER continues its way along the Trenta valley, through narrow ravines, to widen for a moment at Bovec, squeezes narrow again and halts at a lake at Most na Soci. The Soca river connects locals and visitors by the water with activites such as rafting and kayaking.
Note: Rafting on rivers is very popular since it doesn‘t require any special skills and is suitable for almost everybody.
The Sava river:-
The Sava river traverses diagonally the whole of the country. The longest river in Slovenia boasts two springs, in the form of Savica waterfall & Sava Bohinjka and on a field called Zelenci between Podkoren and Ratece & Sava Dolinka. Both rivers join at Radovljica & Sava river.
The upper part of both rivers hosts rafters and kayakers.
