Planet partner with Bay Sports in Cape Town, the official Neil Pryde and JP importer for the region. They are conveniently located in the Sunset Beach area, a 20 minute drive from Cape Town or a 5 - 10 minute drive from our beach front accommodations.
Cape Sport provide a full range of windsurf rental and instruction services. The basic rental package included 1 board and 2 sails (as well as boom and mast) that can be changed on a daily basis to suit the conditions. Rental equipment in generally 2006 equipment alghough 2007 gear can be arranged on request.
For those of you wanting to improve your wave sailing technique we can arrange for specific one to one coaching or alternatively please ask about our annual wave sailing INtuition clinics.
The best time to visit South Africa is in their summer period from october through to March with the very best wind being from November through to February. The conditions are very reliable with wind speeds normally between 20 - 30 knots, the strongest wind coming between 2 and 6 in the afternoons |
