Situated 20 minutes away from Britain's best beach, Holkam beach, enjoy the white sands and swim, land board, kitesurf, walk, cycle or relax in the sun. At our retreat centre, there is also a meandering river to swim in, a lake or pool; meadows to venture into, tennis courts, boats to row or just relax in the gardens.

2 x 2 hour daily yoga classes in the morning and evening, the day is yours to do as you please. Any activity you may be interested in we can organise or just enjoy the grounds of West Lexham.

One of the adventurous elements of this glamping weekend is where to stay! From camping, tree houses, luxury bell tents, "the nook", Bedouin style inside rooms with double beds and canvas walls, cosy cottages for a bit of extra comfort.

The food is organic, vegetarian, low in everything so feel cleansed from the inside out. relax into your free half an hour treatment or extend it to an hour to loosen tight muscles from the yoga practice.

Try horseriding, walking, swimming, or just relaxing at this very unique venue in the Norfolk Broads.

Daily Schedule

8:00AM: Silent walk in tranquil surrounding countryside
8:30-10:30 AM Morning yoga and meditation class
10.30 AM: Brunch of freshly squeezed detox juics, home-made granola and eggs
12:00-2:00PM: Massages and free time to read, explore and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
2:00-3.00 PM activities of your choice. All can start from 11am - 6pm when yoga starts but we allow for treatments too.
3:30 PM: Healthy afternoon savoury snack
4:30-6:00PM: More treatments to pamper yourself or free time
6:00 – 8:00PM Evening yoga and meditation class
8:15 PM: Delicious vegetarian feast




Think sage and mint tea on the Lawn with fresh strawberries and spelt flour scones, Mediterranean salad mezzes, open fire cooking and barbecued foods, clay oven cooking and Sunday Lunches in the garden kitchen for those who might get hungry after a swim!

Accommodation Details

West Lexham is for those who want something in between the ‘leave you alone’ style of a hotel or self-catering house, and the best of communal living. Escape and stay in one of our cottages, or “glamp” it up in a sumptuously furnished bell tent, maybe try one of our unique Bedouin-style indoor camping dorms or even try the tree-tent. Or bring your own tent and pitch it in a quiet grassy glade. The choice is entirely yours. There are indoor bathrooms with shower in Pool house available to all guests. There are also showers, wash-stand and toilets available for all campers and those in the Nook.

Stay at Arch Cottage, a heritage cowshed beautifully converted into accommodation, which offers one double room, (can also be configured as a twin), one twin and one living room (which may also be turned in to a x4 person dormitory).

Bell tents: For the camper who appreciates plenty of room and a touch of luxury, we have both 4m and 5m bell tents in soft woodland overlooking the lake and meadows. Fall asleep to the gentle tumble of the river. Book early for our prime private spot, located between 2 streams, with a wood-fired bath and living willow loo!

The Nook, Eclectic design leads a super snug feel, our bespoke safari canvas tents line up to offer you a sensational nights’ sleep. All the best bits of camping with the luxury of a raised double bed, reading light and chest of drawers, and the countryside is right outside the shared outdoor bathroom.

Bring your own tent, Got your own portable pad? You are more than welcome to stay in exchange for our equivalent of a corkage fee, which of course includes use of all facilities.
