Itinerary & Highlights

Day 1 Zanzibar - Arrive in Zanzibar, an island with a rich history and a truly relaxed atmosphere. The resort is idyllically situated right on the palm-fringed beach where white sand reaches into the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Enjoy optional activities such as island tours, snorkelling and scuba diving at the nearby coral reefs which have a fascinating array of colourful coral and bright tropical fish.

Days 2-4 Beach Resort - Travel into the interior of the island and visit a spice plantation. See and smell a wonderful variety of spices including cardamon, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper and nutmeg. Sample delicious tropical fruits like jackfruit, pineapples and coconuts. The remainder of your time is free to explore the island or simply relax. Zanzibar town is a great place to explore, with many interesting relics from the time of the sultans and a 16th century Arab fort.

Day 5 Zanzibar - Bid farewell to the exotic island of Zanzibar
