Against all odds

As extreme sports people we like a challenge, but some people face up to much more. And they return to again prove that ‘what doesn’t kill you definitely makes you stronger’.

This weekend, it’s the start of the Tour de France, and ready to ride every stage will be the familiar figure of Lance Armstrong.

At 25, Lance was proving to be one of the world’s best road cyclists. However, diagnosed with testicular cancer, which had spread throughout his body, the US rider then faced the challenge of his life. read more
