Surfing in Peru: Home of the World Champions
All eyes have been on Peru lately, especially those in the surfing fraternity. That’s because the 2010 Billabong ISA Word Surfing Games has just ended and Peru came out top! The host nation beat all-comers and reminded the world of Peru’s wave-riding pedigree.

After a week-long battle in tough conditions, the Peruvian team secured overall gold having held off the Australians. Punta Hermosa was the chosen beach; just 35 miles south of the capital Lima it was a great choice. That said, Peru has more to offer than just this beach: much more! read more
