Where in the world has nine million hectares of prime natural wilderness to discover, 330 parks to explore, and a list of adventure sports opportunities as long as its crystal-clear rivers?

It’s Ontario, Canada! And if you enter Ontario Tourism’s competition, you’ve the chance to enjoy the very best of this wonderland for free!

If you win, they’ll fly you, and a mate, premium economy class to Toronto where you’ll begin a 12-night adventure provided by tour experts Tailor Made Travel.

Canoe in Toronto

To enter, read through to the end of this piece then visit the  Ontario Tourism website and answer one question (you’ll find the information you need below) – before you know it, you could be canoeing, hiking, and mountain-biking among Canada’s most impressive natural wildernesses.

Here’s what to expect from your all-expenses adventure trip to Ontario:

Your first days will be spent in the luxury of one of Toronto’s best hotels. From here, you’ll venture north into the Algonquin Provincial Park and pick up basic canoeing skills. Taking advantage of Ontario’s network of canoe and kayak routes – the longest in the world – you’ll enjoy guided tours and learn all about the wonderful waterways that you spend the day paddling through.

Out of your canoe, you’ll be free to stroll into the forests that shoulder the water or dip in a hot tub. Food will include campfire barbeques, and is sure to taste fantastic after hours spent exploring Ontario’s rivers and woods.

From the Muskoka Lakes to the province’s largest mountain resort, it’s soon clear Ontario has still more sporting opportunities: You’ve now two days in the Blue Mountains, on the edge of Georgian Bay. Adrenaline junkies inspired by the views of the Niagara Escarpment can indulge in treetop canopy walking and beach sports, or play a round of golf instead.

    What an awesome prize!

Having spent 6 months in Canada a few years ago I though I had explored a lot of what this country has to offer. However in Ontario I only visited Toronto, Ottowa and Niagara Falls, sounds like I missed some of the best bits…

I’ve been keen to get out to Canada for a while now – it is THE adventure playground (if you maybe exclude the watersports..)

Beautiful country, great activities, nice people, free holiday. Happy days!

I spent a little time in Ontario a few years ago. Most of it was in the lakes in particular the lake of a 1000 islands (or something like that!). The kayaking, windsurfing, wakeboarding and water skiing were amazing. We also did some great treks and fished for our dinner most days.

We also visited some waterfall (forgotten the name!) that you could jump off of and swim about in the pools. Not as spectacular to look at as Niagara but far more interactive!!

    Happy Days!
