Pisco is located in heart of the Cordillera Blanca exactly in Huandoy Massif. It has an incredible summit with 360º view, surrounded by the principal mountains of the Cordillera Blanca as Huandoys, Caraz Chain, Alpamayo, Artesonraju, Parón, Chacraraju, Yanapaccha, Chopicalqui, Huascaran South and North, Contrahierbas and between others.

Vallunaraju is a perfect mountain for acclimatization with appropriate glaciers for Mountaineering Courses. It is a viewpoint of the main mountains of the Cordillera Blanca and of Callejon de Huaylas. Vallunaraju has two peaks: North Peak Vallunaraju (5 675m) and South Peak Vallunaraju (5 686m), viewed from Huaraz it stands as a saddle.
