The history of Argentina Rafting Expeditions began when two friends, Martin Moreno and Rodolfo Navio, sharing the same passion for the outdoors and rivers, committed themselves to offer unforgettable adventures on the Mendoza River. They met in Mendoza while taking university entrance exams to study physical education.

They worked two summers, and together traveled off season to work in the United States. At the close of their second season in Argentina, the rafting company for whom they worked closed, prompting the idea to start a company together.

On December 12th 1993, they ran their first commercial trip. They were equipped with 3 rafts, equipment for 18 paddlers, and surrounded by helpful family and friends.

Today, 17 years later, we have a modern facility on the bluffs of the Mendoza River where you can enjoy a our multiple-sport adventures we offer, while still maintaining the same spirit of friendship, creating a place for friends and family to gather. Our latest achievement: the ISO 9001 standard certificate for our Rafting services, becomming Argentina Rafting the very first argentinean company on this section with this certificate.
