The Calgary Outdoor Centre at the University of Calgary is the largest outdoor program and equipment rental centre in Calgary. We offer an exciting menu of outdoor focused courses, trips and kids camps throughout the year.

All of our programs, rentals and services are available to everyone-from students, staff and faculty to the local Calgary community and tourists from around the globe! For the last 30 years, we have been at the forefront of providing Calgarians, Albertans, and international visitors with access to diverse and exciting outdoor recreation and skill learning opportunities.

Whether you are new to outdoor adventure, have been tripping along with us for years or are experienced in venturing to the backcountry, we have something for everyone.

Being a part of the University of Calgary keeps us focused on providing the solid education and training you need to become safe and skilled in the outdoors. While we do offer guided trips to support your learning, these are educational too, and you’ll walk away with more knowledge and skills than you entered with.
