Nearby the famous City of Carcassonne in the beautiful south east of France, the equestrian centre Domaine de Pommayrac offers you ride-outs, lessons and courses on calm and easy to handle horses. Horseback activities for the entire family: kids, teenagers and adults. We have ponies you can take out for a tour with your youngest children.
During a week-end, some days or a whole week, you can stay in our guest rooms and holiday homes and eat in the restaurant on the spot (half- and fullboard possible).
Trails for walks and mountain-biking start right from the property, and lead you through an amazing scenery of vineyards, pine tree forests and hilly meadows. You can rent a pack-donkey to accompany you on your pedestrian hikes. And if you appreciate water sports, you can drive to our watersports centre in Couiza and have fun in a canoe or kayak on the Aude river ('Family', 'fun' and 'group' offers). Also, remarkable natural, historical and tourist sites are to be seen nearby : Cathar castles, Haute-Vallée de l'Aude, caves, tasting famous local products and wines (Corbières, Blanquette de Limoux...), Pyrenees, Mediterranean Sea, etc.
