We are the Ministry of Tourism, Tourism Industry catalytic entity of the Dominican Republic, responsible for:

Planning, scheduling, organizing, directing, promoting, coordinating and evaluating the activities of the Tourism Industry of the country, in accordance with the objectives, goals and policies established by the Executive.
Determine and monitor the centers of tourism development in the country and guide the projects to be carried out in them.
Guide in accordance with the regulations in this regard, the design and construction of all infrastructure required for the development of various tourism projects.
Coordinate, through the Development Corporation of the Hotel Industry and Tourism Development (CORPHOTEL) national activities aimed at developing the hotel business.
Authorize, regulate, supervise and control the operation of tourism services such as travel agencies, tourist guides, hotels and restaurants, bars, nightclubs quality tourism, transportation of tourists and all the companies and individuals who provide services to tourists and / or conduct tourist activities.
Increasing tourism production in the country by encouraging construction, financing, development and conservation of energy companies.
Coordinate the actions of all state agencies related to tourism, to achieve the best results in terms of service, sector protection or facilitation.
