Ecoteer House
The flagship project for Ecoteer Responsible Travel is the Ecoteer House Project which is based on the tropical island paradise of the Perhentian Islands. The house is based in the local fishing village and in the afternoon acts as a youth centre for the local children. The house is used as a base for weekly school clubs for the local children teaching English and environmental awareness. We conduct weekly beach cleans with the local villagers and collect vital coral bleaching data using the coral watch technique.

Ecoteer Responsible Travel also has a teaching project in Borneo which is free for tourists with teaching qualifications and we will soon be opening our jungle trekking project where you will stay with the local indigenous tribes, conduct an environmental club and help set and collect camera traps to help document the large mammals in the forest.
