if you are in cape town and have only limited time for your safari, we recommend you this one day trip to a private game reserve. this game reserve can be reached within 2 hours drive from cape town and offers you a malaria-free big 5 experience in a fantastic landscape. after enjoying welcoming refreshments and a buffet breakfast, you go on a 2-3 hours game drive in an open 4x4 vehicle with an experienced ranger through the bio-divers natural habitat of animals. during your game drive you also view some of the world-renowned san bushmen rock paintings. back at the lodge you enjoy a delicious buffet lunch served in an authenit african lapa. in summer you can then relax beside the pool and during winter you can enjoy a roaring log fire in the cigar bar. browse the curio shop before you return to cape town.

Kruger national park is home to 147 mammals including the big 5, 502 bird species and 114 reptile species. on this 4 day trip you will moreover see some other highlights: visit blyde river canyon which is the world’s 3rd largest canyon, bourke luck potholes and enjoy the amazing view from god’s window. the first night is spent on a camp site just outside the gate of kruger national park. the other 3 days and 2 nights you stay at a fenced campsite inside kruger park. from there you spend the majority of the days doing game drives in open safari vehicles including one night drive.
