Nature lover or just looking for an idyllic retreat from your daily routine - the River Drawa will carry you through a lush oasis in the primeval forest of the Drawienski National Park in Poland (Drawieński Park Narodowy (DPN).

River Drawa through the DPN is renowned for its beauty and crystal clear water - kayaking these waters can only be described as pristine. Although lowland flat water, it runs through the DPN more like a mountain river with white ravines and magnificent gorges over 100 feet high.

Stunningly silent and beautiful, soothing and serene, the river changes dramatically both in colour and in width, from crystal clear to varying shades of green and orange, wide and narrow as sandy shorelines give way to peat bogs. You’ll glide over a pebbled riverbed with stunning visibility straight to the bottom - watching scenery change to underwater meadows of deep green. Metallic blue/green dragonflies on giant lily pads and a maze of willow trees add to a storybook setting.

You will savour this time on the water – wildlife will come into sight in the passing scenery. Laid back and relaxed, this is slow travel at its absolute best.

With tents already set up at the next campsite ready for your arrival, you can unwind at the end of the day around a campfire.

Three meals a day are provided made with fresh local organic produce.

No previous kayaking experience or the ability to swim is needed to complete this trip.
